@RunetheKoopa I actually wouldn't mind being tortured by Kaptain K.Rool if I was to hear this awesome song the whole time. If I was tortured by his K.Rooleinstein ''version'' that'd be a different story :P
This game used to combine so many great elements together with visuals and audio.
The beginning of this song, reminds me of when you encounter K. Rool for the 2nd time and he's covered in seaweed. The kongs are shocked, and K rool is like "yea, i'm coming for ya now kongs..." and then hilarity ensues when he shoots the fish out of his barrel and looks at the camera like "ummm, uhh.......yea....."
Out of the three games, 3 sadly was the only one that had a really difficult Final Boss Battle, some of the earlier bosses are actually harder than Kaptain K. Rool was in this game...he's so predictable...my least favorite part of this battle is whenever he fades into a ghost and mysteriously appears next to you...I died on that part the other day because I forgot to run...it also reminded me of how flat useless Diddy is as a character in DKC2...it's all Dixie's show, just like DKC3 is...
This entire series had amazing music. I was about to pop on here and say that 2 had the best music, then I stopped and thought about it and couldn't really say that.

DKC2 OWNS DKC1 and DKC3 in every aspect, the music in all games was good, but DKC2 had the best music, it also had the most memorable bosses, the most difficult and fun to play levels, etc, etc. DKC2 is the best platformer game out of all games, period.
Not on Genesis he didn't. Sonic music was some of the best in the 16 bit era. Of course due to Nintentards my comment will be downvoted to hell, but know that DKC is also up there, i like their music as well.
I will not downvote your comment but I will rather upvote it. Genesis has also good games and good music. How can we not remember the music in Sonic? It's unique. By the way, Jewel Master anyone? :)
dave wise kicks ass. all of these songs freaking blow my mind. this game was so freaking badass i still love it today. hell yes to donkey kong country 2!
I don't think so. Both are very talented composers. Both can make interesting music. It would be cool to see these two composers work together in a game. :)
I agree that both are very talented composers too but I believe Wise is better. And it would be splendid if both of them worked together in a game to compose music. Like Uematsu did in Chrono Trigger.
Exactly. I could not say who is better. Both can compose in any style they want and can compose original themes. What about Frank Klepacki with Dave Wise? Hehehe.
I have listened to Dave Wise's work on the NES and I think he might be better than Nobuo Uematsu. If he was better, it would not be by a big difference. Nothing negative here. I just want to be accurate.
@ChiefPowerMaster I'm a huge Uematsu fan...I own most of his works, and after listening to a lot of Wise's pieces, I would have to agree with you. He comes very close. And that's saying something in the video game music field.
I really enjoy this song...there's something very epic and special about it. DKC2 had such great music, and I'm happy that at least Bramble Blast has found its way into Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
I hope that, out of any of the DKC boss tunes, that this tune manages to find its way into Brawl. It's a great piece.
lol... his theme is the map theme remixed... xD
