So let me get this straight if something is precived to be true collectively as Americans general believe this as a victory then it is the only truth that matters?
I see what is wrong with American schools. Why bother with science its all ghostes & goblins or what ever is commonly believed that is true.

American victory?
It was a clear British/Canadian victory.
Britain never had any intent of conquest. The raids & attacks upon the US served only to force the US in to a defencive posture & end all attacks upon Canada & British Merchent shipping.
Ultimitely the US was forced to sign a peace treaty that addressed none of the excuses the US claimed to have gone to war over.
