Majority of the commercial is shot in Oakland and the rest in berkeley. The bike is being passed along, but not on any, real route.

Cut out the part with the cyclists on the sidewalk and digitally-erase the helmets on at least some of the people and you have a fine commercial, even if its greenwashing Kaiser Permanente.

I can't I.D. all the locations, but it looks like the bike travels up the Peninsula (possibly from some place in Santa Clara Valley—maybe Palo Alto at some point since a few shots look like "Professor Ville") hits BART at Millbrae and gets into S.F. Then again it could be starting some place near Berkeley and hitting BART that way.

the song was made by nylon studios,apparently an austrian band...but it was made specificaly for the commercial...so technically its not a song,simply a catchy composure for advertising,and the "song" is only around a minute long.

They must have used a lot of bay area actors. My friend Renee's son was the kid with the skateboard on the board and riding the bike with the skateboard in the basket. Nice to see that Kaiser uses the local kids and the area that they live in.

I believe the owners of Friday are from the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm sure you would be able to find them at a dog park in the area. A young couple are the owners, nice people.
