is this piece meant to have capo on 2nd fret? i haven't heard the song and all i've found for it is lousy tabs no sheet music and it doesn't say anything about a capo. oh what guitar is that anyway? by the looks of it you're a contemp jazz musician? ever played with an orchestra, as in any kind/

now what to answer first ...

-capo 2nd fret is required for most vihuela music, as it is closer to the tuning of the original instrument.

- those tunes are very common guitar literature, you will find them in any library or music shop.

- I'm a musician, dont know about contemp or jazz ... lets say I'm a classical educated guitarist wearing a hat, haha ... sorry if that confuses you.

May I ask why do you use a capo?

The Vihuela was tuned in G, therefore the capo.

Actually, it would be capo third fret, but the standart tuning was lower at that time, so guitarists go to the second fret, to get a similar tonality.

So... 2nd fret is F-sharp, but is expected to be closest to the original height of the original instrument.
