heh i can add turn signals, brake and tailights, approve high and low beam headlights, hook a battery and add an starter on it, and presto, i got me a street legal moped
The best thing about a Rokon is that they are so simple. I first thought the additional gears and bearings on the drive system were complex, but they are simply bearings with some gears on them. Too bad they can't make this bike street legal just in case you have to ride a few miles on the road to the next trail...
In my opinion this is the best video of the Rokon yet. I am definitely buying one after watching this. Looks like it is fun to ride, very useful, and very safe since top speed isn't very high. I would love to see a video of all the other accessories being used such as the mower, cultivator and so on. Not to mention the SIDECAR. Great video!
Ive been thinking about getting one of these trailers for my Rokon. How is it balancing and manuevering around trees and obstacles? Whats your opinion of it when climbing steep hills? Thanks
Sweet video. I've been wondering how the Rokon single-track trailers perform and it looks pretty good based off of your video. The trailer definitely seems to be a worthwhile addition if a person is in to camping and/or extended trail travel. Thanks for the post! I think I'm sold on it.
@Rails69 That's a good run. I'm assuming you had to use the gas from wheel drums or do those things get that kind of mileage from one tankful? And yes, make another vid!
I get around 8 hours or so of running off of the 10L in the tank. So no extra fuel needed for that trip. I'm getting around to posting another video one of these days.
Nice post! The only vid I've seen of the single track trailer. Lets see the some vids of how the trailer does crossing logs, rocks, and really tight woods sections. Thanks!
Sold! Great video!

what do they use for engines?
krankiev 2 years ago
@krankiev The Trailbreaker uses a Kohler 172cc 4 stroke. Check out the Rokon website for any info.

Oh that's pretty sweet! I like two stroke motors.. but a Kohler is a good one!
