Really good sound quality - and I wouldn't have believed you had been standing around getting cold for a couple hours if it hadn't said so in the 'info' - sounds beautiful. I well remember standing around playing outside for several hours when I still played with Salvation Army ... funny that I miss that now (I play with a local brass band now not the SA) :-D
I ought to explain that this was at the end of a long, cold day during which we traverse from one end of the High Street to the other....and this bit was at the less busy end.
The public that did pass were walking behind the camera out of consideration for me, and I'm sure they gave generously to our other collectors along the road!
The Hythe people are fantastic supporters of our church and what we do.
I agree, and this group does a great job. That said, this carol is better when played to the original music. This is the altered tune for the carol. I live near the church where this carol was originally written and performed in Philadelphia in the 1800's. It is a great tune.
Perhaps you could post a video response to my video "My favorite Christmas Carol. What's yours?" here in Youtube. We're collecting people's favorite carols from all over the world to celebrate this Christmas time with everyone!
GG job, very nice one of the best jobs. Most of the songs you guys have done have not have DC splits, the music can be tweaked to have some.

Hi Jocecile,
Thanks for your comment.

The people of Hythe should be ashamed....not a penny was given! And where were the public?

It is so nice to see traditional Brass Band instruments in use! I wish there was something like that around me...
