  • I totally agree. I missed out on the first one when it was new, but it's still great. A Link to the Past is my personal favorite due to nostalgia. Link's Awakening was amazing too; I was HOOKED.

  • Did this back when it came out. Hard as shit.

  • best zelda game ever, imho

  • @punkrockloser7 Oh hell yeah new ones don't even come close. LTTP, LOZ and LA will always be the best 3 I'm just glad I got to live through their releases and heyday. I wouldn't trade that for the world.

  • you could beat this game 100% in up to 5 to 10 hours if you know what your doing i beat this game so many times and this was the first zelda game i played

  • Okay, you told me how you did Adventure of Link, but how dod you manage to finish this with no deaths? I tried, and lost it all in the Ice Palace!! :-(

  • Look at that SNES picture with 240p component inputs.

  • lmao, i did this entire game in four hours a few days ago, and got most of the secrects, missing only four heart pieces...lmao, i know this game way too well...

  • the ending can put a tear of happines in ur eye

  • RESPECT!... Now try beating it under the same conditions within 2 hours ;)

  • I did it too, once... I think it was 1996, and I was playing with SNES. I played from late noon till midnight, pausing just for dinner. So great... :D

  • Or you just play the gba version and you dont have to worry about saves :-p :)

  • I once left an N64 on for 9 days and it didnt overheat

  • So exactly what do you do in order to continue day after day without starting all over?

  • If you're using the SNES, leave the machine on and pause. If you're using the Wii version, exiting holds the last place you were.

  • man, i thought you would have died of fatige by now! nice job! i declare you a link to the past master!

  • such a good game, i think this one and ocarina of time comes equal on my nostalgia favorite zelda game.

  • Nintendo Power fun fact!

Did you know that The Legend of Zelda, the Link to the Past was going to have a sequel on the Super Nintendo, only to be delayed by other launches. Eventually, they decided to bring it to the Nintendo 64. Pretty neato, huh!

  • sweet! thanks for the info! was it oot?

  • I would say it was MM...

  • I bought this game for the GBA 3 months ago because this is the one game I have never played for the Super NES!

  • I have always loved that game and the ending music. Good old SNES... hm...I should play it again. ^_^

  • ...I would still be hard though, I also have the VC version and I've already died alot of times. Nice job.

  • It's was probably easier because on the VC version you can take a break whenever you want and the Wii will remember where you left off, so you can turn the console off and play again later without even saving the game once.

  • I did that before. It took me around 3hours but I took a break (left it on pause) because I start going crazy if I play zelda for over 2hrs strait.

  • I've done it before, on my original SNES. It's actually really easy once your good at it. The first time it took me about 2.5 hours, although I think I could do better now.

  • yea but doesnt doin something as simple as saving get you on the game count?

  • Yes. Saving adds to the game count.

  • how the hell did you beat that game without saving or dieing?

  • I avoided dying and saving.

  • cool and sweet first comment
