I totally agree. I missed out on the first one when it was new, but it's still great. A Link to the Past is my personal favorite due to nostalgia. Link's Awakening was amazing too; I was HOOKED.
@punkrockloser7 Oh hell yeah new ones don't even come close. LTTP, LOZ and LA will always be the best 3 I'm just glad I got to live through their releases and heyday. I wouldn't trade that for the world.
you could beat this game 100% in up to 5 to 10 hours if you know what your doing i beat this game so many times and this was the first zelda game i played
Okay, you told me how you did Adventure of Link, but how dod you manage to finish this with no deaths? I tried, and lost it all in the Ice Palace!! :-(
lmao, i did this entire game in four hours a few days ago, and got most of the secrects, missing only four heart pieces...lmao, i know this game way too well...
I did it too, once... I think it was 1996, and I was playing with SNES. I played from late noon till midnight, pausing just for dinner. So great... :D
Did you know that The Legend of Zelda, the Link to the Past was going to have a sequel on the Super Nintendo, only to be delayed by other launches. Eventually, they decided to bring it to the Nintendo 64. Pretty neato, huh!
It's was probably easier because on the VC version you can take a break whenever you want and the Wii will remember where you left off, so you can turn the console off and play again later without even saving the game once.
I've done it before, on my original SNES. It's actually really easy once your good at it. The first time it took me about 2.5 hours, although I think I could do better now.

So exactly what do you do in order to continue day after day without starting all over?
SmokyOwl 3 years ago
If you're using the SNES, leave the machine on and pause. If you're using the Wii version, exiting holds the last place you were.

...I would still be hard though, I also have the VC version and I've already died alot of times. Nice job.

I did that before. It took me around 3hours but I took a break (left it on pause) because I start going crazy if I play zelda for over 2hrs strait.

Yes. Saving adds to the game count.
