  • I have an Inspiron E1705 laptop with an Intel Core duo processor T2250 @ 1.73GHz 1.73 GHz, 1GB of RAM, 32-bit Windows 7 Ultimate operating system, ATI Mobility Radeon x1400 graphics, 17" color screen. Can I play, edit, and upload videos from the Vado HD 8GB (2nd gen) with this laptop?

  • @ussprinceton2004 sry for the late response but yes, you should be able to.

  • i have a p4 1gb ram with ati x800 laptop i used to edit videos on.

  • Hi, this must be the vado 1st gen, nice review BTW, have you managed to upload any vado videos using the vado software yet, if you have, was the quality of the video showing on youtube maintained ?

  • @Myslot2

As far as I can remember I believe it was maintained. I no longer have it though. I lost it down an ice fishing hole a year ago :(.

Thanks, you know the camera is dead cheap,u can get another one. I bought mine today, cant wait to receive it.. love the quality of the picture vado shoots.

  • Can someone explain how these videos that are over 10 minutes are able to be uploaded to YouTube? I don't get it -- I thought the limit is 10 minutes across the board...

  • As long as your within the amount of memory limit which i think is currently 1GB then u should be fine.

  • No, I've tried to upload a video I made that was 33 minutes, yet under 1 GB and my YouTube page says "Rejected - length of video too long".

I'd really like to know how these people are getting around that limitation.

  • there's a special type of account you have to apply for and its free. but i forget how to get to it.

  • It's a director's account I think (or something like that)

  • @taterz1 you have to get a certain amount of views and apply for a partner account.

  • no problem :)

  • just checked it out and it looks very comparable with the aiptek model except the aiptek one can do 60 fps on 720.

  • Nope, no macro. Although the Aiptek one I talked about near the end of the video does.
