and top down doesnt make it 2d, by that logic we live in a 2d world cus the birds looking down on us must see us that way >_>. and gta 3 had a top down view too

@ChrisJohnson2K then if its 2d, why do you see all sides of a building when going around it and stuff? the buildings are 3d, they make them in a 3d map maker, then turn the camera to top down and then they put in 2d cars and peds. the camera moves in a 3 dimensional pattern

the environment is 3d, and the objects are 2d

why care what retail says? look at the game properly and youll see its a 3d environment

technically its a 2.5d game, as it encompasses both techniques heavily to make it
