PS: I'm a 25 year old young woman(lol) who is a Demi Lovato fan, but I mainly listen to Alternative - who would have thought :D.

I think her target audience is girls and woman who have been through what she is singing about. Heartbreaks, and expectations. Real life is about how one of her relationships was and she wanted more from it. Then she found someone new and she now has her dreams come true, now she wakes up to roses and kisses :). Could be a "don't settle for less" message. That's how I take it anyway.

Lightweight is about her being in love with someone and she's so caught up. He takes her breath away! They are just amazing, and the term "lightweight" could be translated as she has fallen hard for them. She's scared of falling in love with them but she is and she's trying to be careful but it's not working she's falling deeper. "Keep me from drowning in your love, it's almost all too much, handle with care, say you'll be there" Her heart is fragile and it breaks easily :D hope that helps you.

@Cocozen I love that song now! And in Real Life is good too, I like how the beat goes along with the words and the two different parts of the story. I definitely do relate to a lot of the songs, but I think in general there is a good message behind this album as a whole. :)
