In the first series, Tanya put Frank in a coma after he removed her husband Jason as captain. When he woke up, he had no memory of the incident, and Tanya covered it up by claiming she was having an affair with him, but he eventually regained his memories and made a deal with her: He would drop the charges against her if she became his second wife. Because Jason had died and left Tanya crippled with nets, Tanya had no choice.
