he's just passionate, although his voice is damaged from a sickness he suffered as a child. Without that damage he wouldn't have a raspy voice and would be a completely different singer.

@TerryKrumps I think you're wrong..it doesnt take only a raspy voice to be a sucessful singer..you need to know how to sing...you can see by his face that he perfectly knows what he does..(usually when he smiles)...he knows what to do to sound that good, so unique..is not that raspy voice him that makes him what he is...in his head is working dam hard mentaly to sound like that..he would be a very diferent singer yeah if he handt that natural raspy voice but he would make it big even without it.

@AutisticPerception Exactly...he got such notion of what he is doin in every single note he sings... though some people think that only the singers who had some throat problem ended up sounding like that, actually there are people who naturally were born with it....when a singer knows how to sing and naturally have that raspiness and breathy voice i think it adds even more passion and feeling...

'Undiscovered' is easily one of my favorite songs, though this live performance doesn't do it much justice. It sounds a lot like struggling during the chorus, and when he hits the bridge, it almost sounds like his vocal chords are about to explode. :\ Still a great performance though.

Saw James at glastonbury last year and whilst he didnt get the biggest crowd I must say he was one of the best there!

None of my other friends wanted to see him so I went to see him on the main stage alone and I wasn't disapointed. When he sang this song and wonderful world I must admit I shed a couple of tears! He is amazing!
