World of Tanks: Leopard SPG raiding

Just to be clear, this video shows gameplay from the very early WoT Beta. Back then the Leopard was by far the best light tank, and gameplay was a lot different.

And considering I managed to whack 5 mediums, 2 of them direct fire, with one of the german Arty tanks, in a single game, this isn't that much. Especially considering by the time I got pissed of waiting for teammates to learn to fight, we were down to 3 guys.

Actually this is BETA, genius had little to do with it. Latency kept scouts alive, now scout just get one shotted most of the time. Making them 99% useless unless they are very lucky or know where to hide.

@CrushedByATank well i disagree that the leopard would have any real difficulty on an open map and if the aim is to promote the tank  it's best to not have such a blatently biased heavily edited and unthruthful video most people will view this and think what is his hiding rather than thats an awesome tank this video makes it seem all the leopard can do is suicide rush some spg's and only in urban maps.

@bigbrowncheifbottom haha. for me, its the other way around. almost all my deaths on my leapard come from the enemy blowing my tracks off on the first shot.  but yea, fun to hassle arties and TDs with them. their worst nightmare

@takarlor12 german tanks have a much better balance/ratio of armor:gun. Russian tanks are good for flanking and quick attacks, while german tanks are good for everything :D

@RonanMets well it is actually so heavy armored (sloped 50mm in front and 30mm for the sides and the rear) that i wouldent call it a light tank rather a pretty damn fast medium tank.

if you are using leopard the best thing is to use auto-aim, because you dont stand still, you move all the time so you have to look around while you shoot.

@DeathLordNZ - auto-aim is very useful thing - but it gets overused - because it was made for shooting while moving, in other cases - yes - shooting manualy is much more effective

@lordpatrice 'Tanks' are 'just way too fast' - based on the performance of just one of them? VK1602 Leopard is a fast light scout and (one of) the fastest tank(s) in the game. Some consessions have been made to arcade-style playability, but for the most part, the tanks handle like their actual counterparts.
