I was not referring to the chin-up form. Their pushup form is crap regardless of what you aim for - they don't go all the way down, they relax their abdominals leading to strain on their lower spine, etc.
It's important to go all the way down because it gives more strength and strength through a larger range of motion, something gymnasts benefit from.

@danielgod9 i couldnt do diamonds push ups either you just need to keep training and it doesnt even take that long if you really want something you can do it, i started by doing normal pushups and slowly started closing in my hands
Is the bar wooden or foam? Because we use wooden, and theres only 9 people on our team, and one coach. I've joined recently (about a month ago) and I'm already the top in the class, even though the others have been in it for about three to four years. I'm also on level 3, and very close to level 4. Spartans! THIS IS SPARTA!!!!! TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL!!!!
the one doing the push ups in pink has a braclet on which is bad coaching u should tell her to take it off because theres an accident waiting to happen
For the most part, I'd say this video is incorrect. Firstly, allowing your gymnasts to jerk up in their chin ups and lose body tension, will decrease the effects of the exercise and the discipline in form of the gymnasts. The exercises are good in themselves, however technique and form are not being insisted upon, therefore the gymnasts will not get stronger.

LOL the girl in the red at 1:23 is doing a diamond push-up, thats insane.
i am a 14 yeah old kick-boxer, and i can hardly do 5 diamond push ups.
she is so young and can even do it.
