  • May be his best record...should've been number one.

I can't hear it too much!

  • Awesome track! I dig this.

  • my god now i miss my ol pontiac 56, summer cruisin, beer girls what ever..

  • rock and roll rude boy! the best.

  • I do love this guy, he's awesome and underrated!!!

  • On May 14th, this classic track with FINALLY be released on CD. The title of the new CD is "Teenage Memories" on the Teensville label.

  • This is very similar to "I Saw Linda Yesterday."

  • - and "Runaround Sue" by Dion diMucci.

  • Here's a challenge and I hope this can be done before I die of old freakin' age. Somebody....Post a good copy of Dickey Lee "I Go Lonely".

  • Thanks again DW51, what a great rocker, also remember Dreamy nights, from the old crusisin days 'Mid-sixties'

can't find these on Cd's today, I'll just keep listen .

  • Your very welcome! I posted many odd tunes by Dickey including Dreamy Nights, To The Isle, Mother Nature, Why Don't You Write Me & Fool Fool Fool, check them out, they're all great! I don't think any of them are on CDs.

  • i gotta say thank you. if it weren't for people like you, i wouldn't be able to listen to this stuff anymore. everyone my generation listenos to rap (ick) i prefer oldies =)

  • Your very welcome! Trust me I understand, can't even watch a movie anymore without them forcing that crap rap down our throats, I hate it myself!

  • Thanks for a great oldie that's new to me,but i'll always liked he's early recordings from sun to Patches and I Saw Linda Yesterday! We were listen a lot to him while we were crusisin' around in the early sixties and when the future seems like a great adventure!

This must be a very rare track?

  • It did take me some time to find this. Actually, I found it on ebay about 10 years ago?

  • How many great ones is it possible to have on only 1 youtube channel!?

  • AHH, I keep trying, hope I can post more tonight, I'm trying. Until then, keep enjoying.

  • this is really cool!

    thanks for posting

  • Your very welcome!

  • Too much like "I saw Linda Yesterday". But I still like it.

  • That's Dickey! Actually I like this one better, plus this is much harder to find. Wish I had a quarter for every I Saw Linda records I have seen in the last 45 years. This is the only copy I have ever seen of Me & My Teardrops. Thanks for listening.

  • nice song....

  • Thank you!

  • the best!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you, I also AGREE!

  • Dion style THE BEST !!!

  • Isn't that NICE, it should have been a #1 hit?

  • I agree- I cut my record collection off at 2-7-64 (the day the Beatles became more than a passing joke arriving here, though still with narrow ties and suits!)

Per TV Guide back issues, the following day 2-8-64, American Bandstand moved to LA for the first time(Dick Clark points this out as the line of demarcation of radical change in his interviews) That's why I got into the recoirding dates, as many gems were in the vaults waiting for us! God bless , Owen

  • This would have been a big hit if released shortly after it was recorded(62-63), but the Mercury labels book seems to indicate this was an undated master tape sent to fulfill his last obligation for a 45 to them, after the Beatles in 64.

This was just before he changed labels and had hits with "Big Brother" and "Laurie".

  • Thanks for the info! Sad how the British invasion destroyed so many great artist and great sounds, that truly was the day the music died. This is just my own opinion so don't shoot me for it.

  • thats true... Since the beatles the music havent been the same

  • fantastic!

  • It blows my mind, it should have been right there with Runaround Sue and The Wanderer can't figure?

  • Too bad The Atlantic Ocean divides us.

I would love to stroll over to your place with a few beers and just relax by the recordplayer.

  • No need to bring the beers, I have plenty!
