  • Hey man. Thanks! Actually I remember you told me about this song for the first time...

    An attenuator stands between the head and the cab, and absorbs a certain amount of current flowing from the head into the cab. Basically you can crank up your amp all the way up, and it will still be quiet, because the attenuator is absorbing most of the current, and only letting a little bit through to the speakers. In this video my amp is 50% cranked, and the attenuator is on max setting.
