So if I'm working between SV and AE I need to make sure that I've finished editing my video in Vegas before transferring to AE. Because there's no way to import my changes back into Vegas afterward?

hey, nice video. but i use different programs to achieve my goal.
i make effetcs in AE, add audio and cut videos in Windows Movie Maker and import photos and 3D models from photoshop.
if u were given a choice, which would u say is better overall, AE of sony vegas?

@HDHOTDUDE AE for motiongraphics, Sony Vegas for editing

is there a way to save an after effects project and use it in sony vegas or do you have to render it and lose video quality?
Flawrey 1 year ago 2
@Flawrey nop, you have to render it to video
BlueFxVideo 1 year ago 2
Guys, you don't have '.aff' in 'save as' because you have "Vegas Movie Studio", it is working on 'Vegas Pro'!
manhattanstudios 1 year ago
so this means we dont have to render it out of vegas right?
EnduranceforceX 1 year ago
@EnduranceforceX Yes, you can skip rendering from Vegas

Nop, you can only save from Vegas in the aaf format. Would be cool to have that option,
