Yay! I love this piece, I'm learning it on the piano for a recital that's coming up....it really is unique and very pleasing to the ear. My fav. part is the middle when it switches to F# from G flat--it has a really cool affect when you play it right...excellent job!

I recently found the music to this online. There are so many versions... The original in G flat Major, although true to its beginnings, becomes a little too "fun" once you get to the double-stop key change. Besides, it was originally written as a set of Humoresques for piano and all those flats are much easier for pianists! I prefer this version in G Major and look forward to performing it shortly. I like how you've observed the intermediate notes that were originally written, by the way.
