@macythor hi there, Aww i feel for you. The velvet interior for the box was introduced late 2010. All the boxes before that only had white tissue inside. If you have seen any posts with an authenticity card this is a fake counterfeit belt. Hermes do not issue authenticity cards for any of their products. @bendgamo80 .. The leather straps are preboxed according to size. When you coose the buckle they open the box (which is sometimes sealed in plastic).. they then place the buckle inside which comes in the Etoile (beige) dustbag.. :-)
hey again. so your saying that you can request the new style box technically wherever you end up buying it? its good to have to keep the belt in if you dont wear it always. also do you know what the customer service is like if you have any issues with the belt later on?
@bendgamo80 Hi, no you cannot request which box you get. You simply get the one which the belt comes in. But as far as i know, all the new belts come in the new box with the brown velvet inlay. Hermes is very good for repairs/problems as they are a proper luxury brand unlike some others out there. But as with everything, there is most likely to be a charge. I had my gold buckle scratched so they sent it off to Paris for me to get the scratch removed but i had to pay.

hey buddy. awesome belt! wish i got one! wondering though why this one came in a regular hermes box and your other unboxing vid had the belt packaged in a special box with indentations for the belt.... very curious! is it bec from diff stores or web order??
@bendgamo80 Hi there, the belt with the plain white box came with a tissue insert. They only released the new box with the velvety interior this spring 2010. So now all belt kits worldwide come with the new box. There are still some old boxes around for the older stock which hasnt sold yet. I love the new one! Hope that helps, Thanks for watching.

@superjuniorsuper Hey, it's really quite easy. The stud behind the H buckle goes into the single hole at the end of the strap. Then you should have 3 other holes on the opposite end. The straps are always reversible so choose which colour you want to wear and the H buckle should sit on that side. Hope that helps. I might do a demo video if required. Thanks for watching

btw i didnt realize that the belts are preboxed. i assumed you choose the leather and the buckle you desire and they then package it up for you!

how do you put the buckle on the belt strap? my father bought one but we can't figure out how to put it..guess he forgot to ask the salesperson..
