On the plus side, although I'm sure just by chance, Eko's final scene where he's a kid and walks into the sunset with his brother (also a kid) is very VERY reminiscent of how the rest "moved on." Perfect really.

So maybe it's a good thing the actor was a greedy dick and didn't return for the final, it's kind of nice to know Eko already moved on.
