The opening riff /chords of this flop are ripped off from Jimmy Justice's 'When My Little Girl is Smiling (also 1962/3)!!! Poison Ivy was a good'un though - and I remember seeing the Paramounts live at the Tarpots pub in Essex. They weren't bad as a live band...
The amazing thing about the 60's is how far they progressed in such a short period of time. So he goes from this to a Whiter Shade of pale...in how many years?
Thanks, as always 45rpmSINGLES. A nice upload again.
thank god they changed to Procol Harum.

B.J. Thomas was not in the Paramounts or Procol Harum. It was drummer B.J. Wilson, who also drummed early on for Procol Harum until he passed away.

A song written by Jackie DeShannon (with a little help from her friend Jimmy Page).
