And I'm that nigga they can plainly see
With the nationalist colors of the red, black, green
I'm the one who cut Tarzan's vine

That makes 'em shake and make 'em shiver when it comes nighttime ....
@aristhera Thanx for the clarification. I didn´t know it was shortened, but I was referring to the lack of the N word. It is very annoying when you know the lyrics and then some of the words are omitted. Thanx again.

@BeyondTheSpectrum08 Peace your comment about the south caught my attention. Why? I have noticed it too.To me a lot of the southern style is some real ignorant bama type trash. Looking and listening to the current ignorant type sell-outs on the mic today. They seem to come from down there. Not saying all rap from the south is bad. But as of late it seems like it is. What they did was go find the most bama type, coon, minstrel act's and give them mass exposure. I do not take it lightly at all,
CLASSIC! I LOVE IT! music like this is part of my soul, i am truly embarassed that people have the NERVE! to call this crap of today hip hop, YOUR FUCKING CONFUSED! like most people are....only a FEW select percentage of the human population understand what REAL hip hop is, and this video/song is REAL HIP HOP!
Time has ways on saying who is real and who is fake. X-clan message has not changed over the years. Neither has KRS or PE. The commercial rapper lasts just that long...a commercial, then they proceed to fall off. Real hip hop wont do that.
@PowrSurge Word, rappers push commercials, Hip Hoppers push PSAs. I'm with the TRUE Hip Hop artists, like X-CLAN who are STILL BRINGIN' IT! Check out RETURN TO MECCA.
classic!!! heard this one first on a mixtape in the mid 90s.
for the kids:
back in the days a mixtape wasn't some boring shit on CD from one artist mixed up by a producer to fill the pockets of both of them, it was a real tape mixed by a real DJ and if it was a good tape people were runnin trough the streets with the copy of the copy of the copy in their walkman. fuck today's mixtapes!
techwriter's right btw, there's one verse missing.
WTF happend to Hip-Hop? This was real shit. I learned so much listening to X-Clan, PRT, BDP, Rakim etc. Fuck the bullshit, Our nation is still protected by some Pro-Black N.I.G.G.A.S.! SISSIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Pro Black has become associated more with Gangsterism than Liberation efforts with was its original design. The majority of black folks thinking patterns have somehow merged Christianity and Eurocentricism into one and gravitate toward whyte ppl standards of life's balance. We really are not like them.
@ohgeezus Preach!!! Couldn't have stated it any better brotha. Looking back on that era in hip-hop (the golden era) now, makes me realize how much I miss it. The subject matter and its deep historical importance is really needed for our youngstas of today. It really saddens and sickens me to say that we as "So Called American Negroes" in general are truly lost in all aspects of our heritage, lineage, existence.
It was done by design. Public Enemy, xclan, ect was defiantly viewed as a potential threat (regardless of race, whenever anyone begins organizing larger groups of people they become targets) and over the next 2 decades money was shifted to rise up a non threating mainstream genre. People are waking up to the bullshit tho, I see MTV and BET going out of business in the next 5 or 6 years, especially when cable TV becomes completely obsolete, and everything is Internet based.

X Clan was so very much under rated, they were as conscious as any hip hop artist of their era, Brother J's flow was nice, and this 1992 track is my favorite one from them, the lyrics are full of knowledge and strength, no "pop hop" bulls**t coming from this hip hop group, just straight righteousness, much respect to them, R.I.P. Professor X...
