On a pas l'impression d'être a 300KM/H en cabine de TGV j'en ai fait plusieurs fois l’expériences et le bruit est assez assourdissant dificile de parlé avec le conducteur
@rbjplay13 Common sense isn't all that common. Just look at all the grade crossing accidents in the US. I think it should be mandatory for a high speed railway to eliminate grade crossings and to fence off the right of way.
@chrissdangerous also on an airplane it wouldn't seem much faster! It's just the acceleration and the enviroment that make you "feel" the velocity. You could travel with the speed of light around the universe and would feel bored!

I don't think that this is 300 km/h. The first passage through a block boundary is at the 26th second. The blocks are about 1500 meters long, so the train should pass through a block boundary every 18 seconds at 300 km/h.
take the train and you'll see how long it takes you to go from st pierre des corps and paris and you'll find out , and enjoy a nice trip to paris .good luck
Now, I know. I haven't found since now any video of a T.G.V running acording to right hand traffic. What about the driving? I know that usually the driver's side is the side of the traffic on trains and on cars right hand traffic = left hand driving, but what's happening in France?
AFAIK, the driver's seat is located in the middle of the cabin. It's not necessary to exactly watch where you're going like in a road vehicle, so that's pretty much irrelevant.
The French rail system is mostly driven on the left-hand side, but there are some parts in Paris and parts of eastern France that had been part of Germany back in the late 19th century.
Well, they seem to be more consistent than the rails up here around Minneapolis. There's a BNSF line near me that usually runs on the left, but sometimes things go the opposite way.
The train passes almost two pillars per second. The distance between the pillars is 50 m. That means the train is travelling at approximately 80 meters per second (290 kmh) ;-)
i made a calculation to proof that the train drives about 300 km/h
I read the masts( pylons, towers) of high-voltage power lines have a distance of 75 m to the next one . As the train drives 75 m in about 1 sec ( like in the vid) he has a speed of about 270 km/h.
And he is a bit faster then 1 sec ( about 0.8 sec)
@Klitkomander u wrong as I can see , that train passes 2 poles in 1 sec. which is 150m check the time and video then make your calculations have nice day
@Klitkomander 75 meters you say? That means some trees in that vid (trees, not bushes) are around 25-30 meters in width. Where the f**k is it filmed in-between baobab trees?
Je pense que le Train a Grande Vitesse, il a l'air de nous faire plaisirs parce qu'il peut nous toujours donner une belle vue des fenetres, tout ce qui nous touche. :-)
the reason you think its slow is because you're viewing out of the driver's window
Think about it with cars, at 80 mph on a highway u don't feel the speed when you're looking out the driver's window, but when you look sideways or see a car passing that fast, you realize its true speed.
At 0:24 u can see signs btw ;)
Very fast.......

Do trains in France run on the left side or is the video reversed? I think it's the second.
