There were several countries involved in Serbia, it was not individual decision of the US. Al major Eropean countries, except Russia, agreed that West should have interfere. USSR collapsed because it was planned and financed by the west. Their economy was in a very good condition. And other states did not abandon communism, it was a collective decision to form the separate republics. There was no communism in the USSR, more likely a socialism which is not necessary a bad thing.
And US had very much to do with the collapse of the union. It was planed back in 1945 (see Allen Dulles Plan). Americans aren't that stupid, they know what they doing.

You're right. I'm from Hungary. My country was not a victim of Russia itself but the of the Soviet Union that was ruled by the communist party. Russia has changed a lot since then. Now my country is a victim of the western world and the European Union which is ruled by corrupt economical interest groups also infiltrated into our government. That's true, but neither of the ones currently being elected is different in regards to Iraq. Both of them started on the opposite sides (McCain-100 years, Obama-16 months) and have now reached the same conclusion of 2011 (maybe 2013). Both will pursue idiotic foreign policy towards Russia. Both will fail to balance the budget and make any significant economic impact. Say what you will about Putin and Medvedev, but both of them got into power by getting the majority of the votes and have more domestic approval than any Western leaders do right now. And Medvedev is guaranteed to be a much, much better and more competent president than either Obama or McCain. Their system is democratic enough to convey the will of the people but at the same time authoritarian enough to weed out retards in a presidential election, which seems to be a problem with US elections.

Western media presented the situation in a way that half the people in the West thought RUSSIA bombed SOUTH OSSETIA for the first week of the conflict. RussiaToday is biased, obviously, but they're not the brainwashing tool Western media is. Russians have a much more balanced understanding of the current situation than Westerners do.
