  • Still don't know how to get Guitar rig 4 record my guitar. Can anybody help?

  • SOMEONE knows how to export WITH the effects of GUITAR RIG ? i only hear the clean sound in the export files ,if i reproduce them CUBASE it´s ok but not as a wav archive

  • Great job man!!! You did really usefull thing:) very very thank you

  • I don't know why, but when I try to play through Guitar Rig 4, it sounds really quiet. Would anyone happen to know why? I need help with this ..

  • @OhMyTofu Look for the volume sliders in GR 4. There are a bunch of them like on your 'tapedeck' along with a master at the top. Also if you have like a guitar link usb interface thingy you should check the volume on that as well.

  • 1:51 lml !!!!

  • What song is in 0:16 ???????????

  • I realize that an amp is always going to sound better to someone who plays guitar, but to be honest, 95% of listeners won't be able to tell a difference between Guitar Rig and real amps. The last time my band was in the studio, we recorded everything through through live amps, but recorded one guitar through this program. No one can tell the difference...the engineer even mentioned how he forgot which track was running through a program.

  • the last sound clip at 3:55 ,sound badass, wow so sad but very powerful

  • Hey, have you guys seen the new Windows 7 equipped StudioBLADE keyboard workstation? Its perfect for running all of your Windows compatible software and plug-ins! Click the link below to check the videos on our channel!

  • What audio interface did you use to record this?

  • dude, i dont get it, why my guitar sound's sucks. (i know its pretty cheap but still) Im connecting guitar to computer's LINE IN (i've got big jack cable) and it goes with asio4all to Guitar Rig 4. But still sounds lame. Some noises and etc. Maybe i must buy some Audio Card? or i have to but new guitar? or something wrong with setting? please let me know.

  • @Gigatless Get an audio interface. You're gonna blow your amp and your computer doing it that way (do you have an amp?).. Guitar - Amp - Audio Interface - Comp - Guitar Rig.

  • @Gigatless Try to Raise the Latency to 2048 Kpbs in the audio properties in guitar rig menu And Plz tell me if it work 4 u

  • @mustanggt209 oh my god, you are genius!!! it works!! :))))) Thank you so much!!

Sound is pretty great. Sounds really like studio recording O_O!!

  • @Gigatless never mind man

  • None of these presets are built in with the Guitar Rig 4 when you buy it? At least i can't find em'.

    Could you upload them somewhere?

  • wow that was wonderfull, thank you so much. I love the turkish tone and yes the hot plex did sound like little wing ... Guit Rig is just brilliant ... whether you want the Edge like multilayered soundscapes or pure simple but brilliant tones ...

Btw - can you suggest a good mix to make a Hollow Years sort of Dream Theatre sound and also for petrucci's Glasgow Kiss ...??

  • This is demo sound from Native Instruments web site, right?

    I use GR4 too.

And I also like GR4 very much.

  • I only like the clean tones that you can get from these modeler things. I can never get a good distortion, but the clean tones sound great most of the time (in my experience).

  • damn, it sounds alot like a real tube amp in the beginning

  • Can someone help me i get only normal sound from my pc for guitar wtih no effect

  • Woah, man, I like the Aussie!

  • For Metal Riff what were the settings if you dont mind sharing

  • Please help me out, I wanna record a heavy metal song on guitar rig but when i record it the save it then play it back on Itunes it has no effects no amps nothing, its just clean, what do i do to record well not just a clean guitar? please and thank you I appreciate the help, and please reply directly so i can see this as soon as possible

  • @dfrm13 it's because you're recording on the wrong recording dock. You're recording your guitar before it goes through the amps in guitar rig. Scroll down to the recording dock on the bottom of the guitar rig interface, and record your riffs on that one instead.

  • @jdawg4098 thanks so much, you really helped me out alot. I appreciate it.

  • @jdawg4098 haha this is what i wanted to know, thank you so much!

  • what kind of guitar are you using? stock pickups? going through any preamps or analog pedals?

  • Hey guys I need help I have guitar rig pro 4.0.7 and I have downloaded the update off NI website(4.0.8) but what do you do with the rar file do you unzip it in a certain file or do you go through the set up process which I have previously tried and lost all my presets what do I do. have vista 64bit btw help will be highly appreciated.

  • Guys who complain that Guitar Rig sounds like shit need to realise you were never meant to run it straight from the computer...

Guitar rig is meant to be used with the guitar rig kontrol, session IO or mobile from them. Literally everything sounds better once you've got those, since all the processing is moved to the guitar rig pedal itself. The PC is only an interface to change amp settings, etc.

  • PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE ANSWER THIS, can you have a effect pedal plugged into the guitar rig and then into the computer?

my english suck, but i try!

  • @dark1tran2 Yes you can. :) I use a wah sometimes.

  • @jdawg4098 wonderful, but does it sound good? :)

  • im using the demo and am not getting any sound. input and output is registered but no sound comes out thru my speakers. im using intergrated sound. any ideas?

  • Does Guitar Rig 4 sound like that in reality?

  • @satch429 Yeah it does. Some of them are stereo and modified a little by NI, but the sounds are all legitimate. :)

  • @jdawg4098 i have guitar rig and these sound better than the presets when i use them...i've found that the cabinet sounds ruin things for me, so i use some of my own gathered impulse responses and then it sounds really great, the amps have great response and compare more to these demos

  • You think you could share the patches(your presets) with us ? through some links ?

they'r awesome, and would be really helpful

  • dude can you plz tell me what programm you use to record guitar rig 4 tracks plz

    ?

  • Have used. A good product. Great capabilities but IMHO, it is a little bit on the thin side. Warm but not tube warm if you know what I mean. It seem there is no emulation for audio electrons smashing against a tube grid and plate. I am sticking with my twin tube ZOOM unit that is grab and go. It's the warmest sounding unit made to date. great price too. Guitar Rig 4 is by far the best alogrythum based processor for guitar to date but for me it's no tube is no bueno.

  • what sound is that at 19 seconds man??

i got gr4 but not heard that sound.

    i love it

  • how do you record the sound using guitar rig 4?

  • the metal preset sucked ass

  • hey i'm curious how you got such good guitar tones. i tried the metal riff one, with the ultrasonic, control room, and reverb. but it doesn't sound as good as what i'm hearing here. i'm wondering what kind of hardware/computer/software you use? I'm using a laptop with a usb guitar cable, which is probably part of the problem. if not all of it..

  • I think you use internal sound card which most of them suck for recording. Try audio interface, such as m-audio, tascam, toneport, etc.

  • Is the "Beckstreet Boy" sound clip a Guitar Rig 4 preset?

    The weeping sounds so awesome.

  • youre pretty good here mann well done nice tones

  • Is this program difficult to use???

  • @DrumsandStrums

Not at all, it's a piece of cake.

  • @jdawg4098 , how did you connect the guitar did you have an adapter with a guitar cable and plugged it or u need some thing special

  • hy.

    can you help me?

what's the problem with my guitar rig 4.

    it can't sounds well.

do you think the problem is my audio card(x-fi xtreme audio)?

  • this is simply amazing.

  • you tit. these are the Native Instruments demo's. Plagiarism is alive and well.

  • You tit. Read the video description. I never even claimed it was mine, so assumptions are also alive and well too.

  • daddy like mucho

  • Is this better than the line 6 studio pod x2?

  • Yeah, I've got the pod xt live and it's not sampled as well as this.

  • @SteveFEn7DER Line 6 makes drive sounds sound like paper crushing/ripping instead of sounding like real tube overdrive.

  • is this online guitar like drum kit from hell

  • What is the name of the song in 0:50? At least i think I have heard it somewhere.

  • It's just a surf-blues I IV V, there's a million songs that use that.

  • Great Video!. How do you connect the guitar to the computer?. Through an especific audio interface maybe?. And how do you eliminate de noise?

  • Not great, but fantastic demo! Great product that is. Shame, it's expensive. But quality costs...

  • Im thinking of start play on amplitube or guitar rig , more or less sell my real rig , got a bunch of pedals and a real 100watt all tube amp today, I play most hard rock but uses both clean and heavy overdrive now, think Im gonna keep my wah pedal tho, but can I do this? play live and in studio whith my guitars wired in to a laptop? ... I mean, Is the tone good enoth in these programs? please give me your opinion :) thx !

  • @warhammerIII I wouldn't replace one with the other. They're both good for what they do. But I wouldn't use guitar rig live, no.

  • cool sound!!!! pickups??????????

  • Sounds great, well done :).

  • how did you connect your guitar to your computer. As in is it like pod farm were i could just use my line 6 toneport because the stuff on pod farm isnt that great compared to this

  • @JackHargreave Any decent audio interface will do, I got mine from the Guitar Rig: Session package.

  • when I hear the aussie and and the 60s R&B, I hear both the hives and the vines... funny cuz the vines ARE australian

  • id love to see yellow ledbetter played through mellow plex!

  • Ayarlarını yazarsan ya da presetları koyarsan daha iyi olur. ;)

  • @zaragoah

    wat

  • 1:50

  • What about it

  • I wonder what guitars they used for these samples. It sounds like they were very prestigious.

  • is there any accustic sound or autentic jazz sound???

  • There are no acoustic settings, but I mean, plugging an Acoustic into some of the clean amp models doesn't sound bad. Also just use it without an amp setting, just straight through.

There are plenty of jazz settings.

  • Very good sound samples!

  • Just downloaded the full program and keygen, works great, sounds very good. The first 3 guitar rigs were horrible, this one is actually record ready.., its no Peavey Revalver but its good.

  • Do you need really good speakers for it to sound shit hot? Also how much is it?

  • Been my experience you don't need great speakers to get good sounds out of amp sims all the time, but... be aware, often, if you don't use flat studio monitors... what sounds great on your speakers or headphones might sound terrible on someone else's system.

For serious recording it helps to have some flat response monitors. Don't have to be the most expensive, but flat is a virtue for recording mixes that sound good everywhere.

You want to hear what's actually there, without speaker color.

  • no but i'd buy good headphones. i use drummer headphones, not an expensive model but pretty good quality with good bass

  • he's a knock off nigel, he's a knock off nigel... he's a knock off nigel who downloads knock off software....

  • Sounds great!!! love it!!!

So you only need audio interface, computer, DAW, and of course, Guitar Rig 4, don't you?

    Sorry for noob question.

  • I guess we need a Turkish Saz to get that Turkish Saz sound. I thought we could emulate that sound using a guitar.

  • you are absolutely right at 2:41, that sound made me think of little wing instantly :O sounds amazing

probably won't sound that amazing when im playing haha!

    greetz from belgium!

  • Sounds pretty awesome.

Ofcourse real amps do sound better, but not many people can afford most of these amps / cabinets.

And if i did, i sure as hell would not drag them from stage to stage.

    Great stuff.

  • I'm not sure the definition of "sound better" in this situation. But this program can replicate the sound of many great guitarists (Yngwie,Vai,Page,Hendrix, etc).

For sure, it's the ultimate way of high quality budget recording.

  • Man, the AC Box always sounds so damn good. Awesome demo!

  • The new Guitar Rig 4 sounds really amazing. It sounds more warm and more close to flesh and bone feeling.

  • Emulation is emulation and for what it is, it serves it's purpose. But nothing beats the real thing but (I haven't installed it yet) demo of Rig 4 - but Rig 3 does sound very good going through studio monitors.

Even on the lower end (monitors) , headphones and standard settings won't sound that great but the presets are just that - more of map to tweak.

Sound is personal so no matter how many patches you have to play around, find the closest and the tweak to your sound.

  • i have the guitar rig 4 but it sounds shitty comparing to this. What things you use beside the programm?i'm talking about inputs, output speakers soundcard and the rest

  • Most of the clips on here are stereo, if you listen. They've got two guitars playing. Listen with headphones, you can tell.

You can still make the sounds using this program but you've got to know what you're doing in your recording software in order to do it.

Also did you pirate the software

  • i like that tubey sound it provides in those soundclips.i play it live throught a soundcard input.I don't expect that kind of sound throught regular pc speakers but the cleans and vintage are far from this.i guess they use recorded dry signal and process it after that.

No offence are you a NI guy?im not a user but i find it intersting and got the demo.i guess the pirare version is the same.I'm fun of the real thing for playing live but i find it very convincing as recording tool by the clips.

  • you need a fast sound card and a computer with lots of memory

  • You need to have a low latency soundcard, the Creative X-FI series should work but I use the N.I Session USB audio. For speakers studio monitors can cost alot depending (although they have a flat response and most accurate) response.

But a very inexpensive and good sounding way to use Rig - buy a pair of used guitar amps, even 30watts is good and you can have the pre-amp stage bypassed - use Guitar Rig and play in stereo for less the $100.00

Doesn't cost much and works great.

  • It can, yes. Running your computer's output through a clean amplifier through a PA system is ideal

  • Nothing compares to real amp sound...not even GR4.

If we talk about modeling...so get Fractal Audio FX.

  • wow I cant wait to try out GR4, what great tones. I have GR3 kontrol edition and love it. The tones sound so good. and recording with the tape decks and playing with mp3s are so easy. It took my playing to a whole new level and has enabled hours and hours of enjoyment. download advanced fretpro and use it for your solos when playing to backing tracks it is free and helps make soloing alot easier.

  • whats the song at 0:51?

  • A rockabilly blues progression. Look up some Stray Cats if you like it.

  • i nearly fell to my ass when tweed funnk came on.

    crazy real sounds.

  • as expected, this software is shitty for metal. sounds good for other styles but for metal...

  • No kidding... I kept getting more and more excited to hear some metal clips after hearing the vintage amps, and then all I get is weightless fizz and hiss.

It sounded like dimed gain and presence knobs on a dual rec with old tubes.

  • I refuse to belive that all this great sound comes from guitar rig 4

  • you can check it on their website

  • @MyFatCatIsOld

    buy the pedal.

  • Maybe they nail it with the Guitar Rig 25?

  • the turkish saz sounded very interesting, the clean guitars are pretty good, the very distorted end is still lacking.

  • ive got guitar rig 3 full version, purchased not cracked, cant wait to upgrade, been with native instruments since the start, great reliable company

  • sounds great, can't wait to buy it

  • you're a gaywad
