That cop should have used pepper spray first. That would have incapacitated the suspect. After that, he could have used his taser to completely immobilize the suspect and restrain him with handcuffs.

Captain Price up there clearly doesn't know how to make an arrest with a weapon. You don't put your service weapon anywhere where the criminal can get, or attempt to get it. You stand back, order them do drop it, and if they do not listen to you, you shoot to kill. Putting your gun to the back of his head is just ASKING to get it commandeered and get yourself, and possibly others, shot.

@surfside006 I'm no cop but, correct me if I am wrong, are you not supposed to hold your gun so close to a felon? Granted that the chances of him having training is low, but trained people know how to disarm someone who gets to close. With a gun that close to him, a quick swipe would throw it out of his way. Some martial arts train how to do this if I remember correctly.
