Keith, I just discovered you & this video.  You had me in tears from laughing so hard. My cat was inspecting my face in an attempt to figure out what was making me wheeze in my silent laughter, LOL. I'm HOH & grew up in a deaf family with 2 younger sisters (1 deaf, the other hearing). THIS IS SPOT ON. It's exactly how my parents handled us when we did that to them while driving.

Thank you for giving me a fit of wheezy laughter.

What's funny, is I've been in a car as a hearing person with a deaf person driving at 70mph while having a conversation and the deaf person texting her husband. O_O

you should see how my hearing mom and my hearing husband drive when I am in the car as a deaf person who DON' T know ASL. I speechread, and they often look directly at me while driving.

my Deaf friend drives with one hand and signs to me with her other... it's still scary because she tends to drift into other lanes, cause she's turned in her face pretty much completely facing me!!! but it's okay, i think she's never been in an accident as opposed to all the hearing people i know who total their cars like every month.
