I'd rather play as Protoman, because, well first of all, IT'S PROTOMAN, and second a lastly, he has the charged shot and the slide from the beginning which is freaking annoying in Megaman's story D<

well he has a bigger hp bar and its actually a ton easier to beat the game with him. Thats why u can't use him to get acheivements

He also takes double damage (so he culd

die in only 3 hits in some cases). He can

only shoot 2 shots at a time instead of 3.

So its accually HARDER. Sliding is somehow

nice, i think its a lil bit faster but it's

rarely usefull, just as the shield which

hasn't been usefull to me in the entire game

with proto man.

With sliding, you can actually go completely under those robots that pull you to the right, so you don't have to dodge those. Not sure about other uses for slide.

Protoman is fun to play, but yeah, he takes too much damage..it'd be difficult to beat the game with him. The game doesn't give enough energy tanks for him either. Too bad they didn't implement the "slide" with him as well. This is an AWESOME game to play the classic of Megaman all over again. You may say this game sucks, but it is classics to us...

I love the music too, it is definitely back!

Protoman was playable in both Poer Battle and Power Fighter, and you could lay as him in Mega Man Powered Up

Proto Man is additional 'Downloadable Content' for the full game. He's not in the trial/demo at all.

0Banjo0, in Megaman Powered Up! on the PSP, Protoman's playable. For regular-ass old school Megaman games, he's not.

There's a few drawbacks to Protoman in this, whereas in Powered Up he was hilariously broken.
