I think Russ Ballard wrote this tune? what ever happened to Him? He had a song called, Voices" in the early 1980's. He wrote a lot of tunes for bands like Santana, Rainbow, and Three Dog Night. Quite a variety here. obviously talented.

it sounds dated to me in the 80s....whereas the older 70s stuff actually seems timeless.

@ugotpimp It may be dated but it still sounds terrific to me. Also, I think some songs sound a whole lot better when they are done electric & "polished" as you say. This would also be good in acoustic but i doubt it would be near as catchy.
