  • I really enjoyed it. Sir, did you make any modifications to Veena? I have a veena with me. I used to learn it when I was a young. Now I want to learn it again but in Hindustani style as my interest is more oriented towards it. I'm trying to play some hindustani music for some time now. As my knowledge of swaras is very weak I struggle to identify the notes. Is it possible to start afresh with a hindustani teacher teaching and me following it on Veena?

  • He has used Sitar technique in Veena which is not easy task. I like the way he mixed hindustani and little western style at 3.27 till 3.42

  • Just wonderful. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

  • Do you have a Veena? How much it costs?

  • just mesmerrizing and mystical wow

  • really great

  • very nice feeling, sounds very smooth

  • Hi dear gopal

Excellent tonal quality and high musical content in your expression. Are u the disciple of great master Sri S.Balachander. In which part of the world you stay.

  • Why there are no other Veena Vidwans in this country other than Sri.S.Balachander or you know no one other than Balachander?!:)

  • I suggest you link this video to DynamycDesi. They are a good platform to promote globally. They also run weekly talent competitions that may be of interest to your students.

  • KYAA BAAT HAI!

you are actually bending the string much more than you normally would in carnatic music, right?

  • yes he is, that is sitar, hindustani technique called gayaki.
