At first I thought this video was made a few months ago to a year, so I thought "Oh, well plenty of people might have said that back then." But once I say that he just said that less the 2 weeks ago, I was appalled. Is he stupid?

Americans have been making fun of this statement for a long time, yet McCain, if given a chance, would say the same thing again because he said the 'FUNDAMENTALS ARE STRONG'. The fundamentals of the USofA economy that is laissez-faire capitalism, IS strong, but they have been undermined for a LONG time, and the fundamentals are not controlling the economy.

"we will clean up wall street". That sounds real nice John. Why not be more specific and say something like. We're going to take monetary control away from the bankers by allowing the government to print our own money just like the Constitution calls for.

mccain is right: wall street has to be cleaned up. BUT I need the proof NOW that mccain really wants to do that. the best way to start he´s that mccain comes out and say that a) there´s no (powerful) lobbyist in his campaign staff and b) fires all members of his campaign staff identified as lobbyists. that´s all I want from mccain NOW. nothing more, nothing less.
