Shields has 6 or 7 months on his contract, so GSP goes up and has a supper fight, then drop back down and fight Shields.

Shields went up 12lbs on 7 weeks notice for Lawler, then up 15 lbs for Miller, all in 6 months.  GSP said he would need 8 to 10 months working with strength and nutrition coaches to add the weight in the right way. And he would want a few more months training at the higher weight before fighting at Middleweight.

I like both these fighters, most fans have seen a bunch of GSP fights and only 2-3 fights with Shields.
