I just picked-up Season-7 at Walmart, so I was doing my own little Entourage marathon. It was already late. So by the time I flipped DVD's and pressed play I was already asleep. This song woke me up. So later I'm listening to the commentary version and they're talking about how it just happened... outside of some well thought-out plan to create a magical scene... and that makes me appreciate it even more.

@3beng2beng1beng agreed, sooo many people hate it because it's a different direction, but how long can 'vince and the gang's carefree shenanigans' last? it was a risky move but it added another dimension to entourage, it's too bad it ended after only 10 episodes :(

@BobReefer well it wasn't my favorite season, but i liked that they tried something different rather than doing the same formula over and over, it annoyed me that the season never really ended and each episode left us on a cliff-hanger rather than than each episode being wrapped up neatly, but it was a change of pace for entourage which i appreciated because the formula was getting stale

@BobReefer and obviously we'll think differently about the story but i think by season 7 Vince didn't feel like he had any challenges with where he was at so he was more open to things he wasn't before since he had a safety net he didn't before

and ari and his wife were constantly in couples therapy but he managed to woo his way out of it or something, but this time his anger really fucked his company and himself over, and that's where she drew the line, it's not that farfetched

Season 7 was supposed to be the payoff of them actually going through all the shit they did, and you can't say it wasn't the same old formula when they basically have done similar things in season 2 and 4/5 (2 with mandy moore, and 4/5 with medellin), where shit gets really fucked up (season 2 not so much). Instead I now feel like no matter how old these guys get and how much shit they go through something worse is always on the horizons. I don't know, in my opinion Entourage is supposed to be a feel good show, not some drama, drug addict bs that season 7 was.

@BobReefer it is getting better for Drama lol, but that's about it. i guess where we differ is you want to have something to relax to and laugh with and i want to see it evolve for better or worse into something else, i wonder how they would handle a season of the guys dicking off and enjoying the good life, people like watching the drama

@3beng2beng1beng ari storyline doesn't make any sense whatsoever HIS WIFE FULLY KNEW WHAT HE WAS LIKE WITH WOMEN, but now all of a sudden she has a problem with it? Its fucking ridiculous, they went back on basically everything they spent the first 6 seasons building up.... The 7th season should of been the one where life was good FINALLY for once, and the problems weren't so fucking serious, they butchered the whole show. First half of season 7 is OK, after that it's the biggest POS ever.
