  • What is the native language of the people?

  • In asturias, originally people spoke "bable", the traditional language, but now just old people speak it. The rest speaks just spanish.

  • @Titusawakes.I'm sorry but you're wrong.A lot of young people study the asturian language and the kids learn it since they start school, but it is true that not many people put it into practice.

  • @Titusawakes

I'm 23, my mother tongue is asturian, and be sure that is gonna be the mother tongue of my kids when i'll have them. Bable is the disglosic way to call the asturian language, but use asturian instead.
