    Would it be acceptable to use BAKING SODA and put in into 1 cup of water and drink it?

    I have heard that Baking Soda helps make water more Alkaline.

  • interesting since their are anti nutrients that do not brake down in the human digestive track. These completely null some of the nutrients we try to intake. most of these can be broken down and release iron and other things. while yes a large amount of Vitamin C does get lost many westerns take large amounts of C just eating the fortified foods.

    I drank tons of milk when I was young and no prob I was thin and muscular. I stopped drinking milk and ate burgers. The buns gave me diabetes. For me... milk is the perfect food. For you.. maybe not.

    I have abbreviated but I've been thru every diet. Every person has different foods that are best for them. If your pancreas has to constantly adjust your PH then it may get overworked. I should probably stick to alkaline food because my body is acidic.

  • I have a deviated septum. I tend not to breathe enough. I have become very capable in an anaerobic environment.

    My body adapted. I make more ATP then most in an anaerobic enviro.

    Going from a heavy carb diet to a heavy protein diet and vice versa hurts temporarily. We are omnivores. Sometimes ppl 4get.

  • @BellaaMarlene From what I understand, acid fruits do not necessarily mean they will make your body acid. They have an alkalizing effect on the body, despite being acidic fruits. Take care and best of health to you.

  • One of the ways our body compensates for acidic blood is to breath more air. The opposite is also true. If the blood is too alkaline, our breathing will slow down, retaining the carbon dioxide. How we breath during various quantities of exercise will have an effect on our blood balance because of its relationship to carbon dioxide. Though I wouldn't be want to breath smog, so I get your point.

  • I started an alkaline diet 3 days ago, its about 50% alkaline diet so its a gradual change. I feel better already, especially in the mornings. The problem is i think i'm gonna lose weight if i keep up this diet too much and i'm already thin.

  • iI ve switched to this lifestyle and lost 34 pounds, i can breath so much better, my endurance is so much better, my recovery is so much faster, my skin is sooo much better, my body feeling is extremly great, my vision improved extreme(THX goji berries), my digestion is much better, my enjoyment of food is 1000x greater, i have taste sensations that arent possible with cooked food. And-an acidic state leads to chronic inflammation traveling in the blood pointing to cancer & heart problems & a myriad of illnesses. I think it's accurate to say that there is more to Ph than just in the urine! I'm thinking urine isn't supposed to be highly acidic? Do your homework, Reese!   • I've been studying&studying alkaline vs. acidic in the body & every single thing she says I've found to be repeated-not only on sites but real medical studies. All you have to do is google alkaline vs. acidic & follow the trails to the medical journals and studies. You'll see she's right on target, no kidding. I trying to find out why I got an auto-immune thyroid disorder and also "happen" to be exhibiting RA symptoms (auto immune too)-& a strong answer points to acid & chronic inflammation.

  • This information isn't accurate. Everyone is biochemically different. What is acidic for some could be alkaline to others. The greenland eskimos ate 90% meat and fat with no health problems and a balance pH. Ph is specific to body compartment and body fluid. Therefore, when making any reference to pH it is imperative to make clear statement as to where the measurement is taking place ( urine, venous blood,arterial blood,saliva, and even specific organs).

  • Not entirely true...very high rates of osteoporosis in eskimos. Try an ayurvedic indian diet...very tasty, lots of variety, and easy to make.

  • Awesome content, great presentation. 1 Question, I live in the area where tainted spinach is grown and am scared of giving my 3yr old raw spinach because of the spinach E.coli dealth that was so highly publicized. How do you reduce the risk of E.coli infection? Can you wash spinach in anything before you eat it raw, other than bleach of course. Obviously cooking kills the E.coli, but that defeats the purpose of the raw spinach you talk about in your video. Thanks!
