Its great that film has captured such a unique time period in our culture,the 1960s are long gone but the fantastic big block stock cars still give me a thrill screaming down the track.
That 9 second 66 Fairlane is something else. What kind of FE is he running? It doesn't look like he's running a narrowed rear. Who built his motor? I gots to know!

I think it's a Shelby block, chances are he goes to the FE forum, you could probably find out from him there.
