Atheism is just as correct as any other religion, it's just what people choose to believe/not believe in. Several things I have noticed about the responses to Shock's challenge. Video ratings have been 'enabled'. Comments have been 'enabled.' The responders have MADE SENSE. Meanwhile, Shock's original challenge was self-contradictory where it wasn't vague, or misguided. Furthermore his video ratings are disabled and comments are subject to his approval; not very transparent. I'm pretty new to his stuff, but I'd say he's pretty disingenuous.
The problem with atheists going into a debate is that they mostly avoid the demands for evidence saying, "the burden of proof is not on us" the problem is atheists, if you go into a debate with NO arguments for your position, YOU LOSE!

If we were to answer this question scientifically, we start of with a null hypothesis which is the opposite of our claim, and as such we intend to disprove (since it is far easier to disprove something than to prove its opposite). The claim is: "God exists" therefore the null hypothesis is "God does NOT exist". Until we can DISPROVE that hypothesis, that is the logical position to hold. It's just the scientific method

Several things I have noticed about the responses to Shock's challenge. Video ratings have been 'enabled'. Comments have been 'enabled.' The responders have MADE SENSE. Meanwhile, Shock's original challenge was self-contradictory where it wasn't vague, or misguided. Furthermore his video ratings are disabled and comments are subject to his approval; not very transparent. I'm pretty new to his stuff, but I'd say he's pretty disingenuous.

It's a CORRECT philosophical position because there is zero credible confirmation of anything supernatural, including gods. That's the EVIDENCE we have.
As for PROOF, a negative can't be proven, so that part of the request is nonsensical. Shlock may as well ask for proof that there's no Santa Claus anywhere in the universe--clearly unprovable, and that fact doesn't make Santa's existence plausible, contrary to Shock's dishonest pretentions.

If we were to answer this question scientifically, we start of with a null hypothesis which is the opposite of our claim, and as such we intend to disprove (since it is far easier to disprove something than to prove its opposite). The claim is: "God exists" therefore the null hypothesis is "God does NOT exist". Until we can DISPROVE that hypothesis, that is the logical position to hold. It's just the scientific method

Asking other silly questions, such as "What makes rocks happy?" is a demonstration that just because a question can be grammatically formulated doesn't mean that the question makes any sense. Shock's question is nonsensical in that assumes that atheism is a dogma. Atheism describes a lack of belief in God justified by a lack of evidence for the existence of said God.

He was trying to make SOG understand because his question is incoherent and displays a lack of understanding of what it means to be an atheist. This was really just a funny attempt at giving a simple explanation of the basics of being an atheist so that SOG can then go "I will prove that my disbelief in these gods is accurate and correct" which is what he is asking to begin with.

SOG wants us to provide an explanation as to why we don't believe in his god, the explanation is that we have not seen sufficient evidence for his existence. He doesn't accept that yet he doesn't believe in other gods for the same reason, because he has not seen evidence for their existence. So he should be able to even though he doesn't agree with us, understand where we are coming from. That is the point of the vid

The question means "prove to me that your disbelief is accurate and correct" and my answer would be, because your evidence is not sufficient for me in order to believe.
