  • do you have an links that provide more information on Cuauhtemoc? This would be greatly appreciated. I am currently doing a report about the rise and fall of the Aztec Empire, but I am not finding much information about Cuauhtemoc.

  • My great Grandfather told my dad that the Spaniards tied Cuauhtemoc and his companion on the ground with there feet tied with a flame of fire in there feet to make them talk and find out where the the treasure and gold was but Cuauhtemoc never told them but his companion replied i am burning and Cuauhtemoc said you think i am a bed of flowers now that takes alot of courage

  • @MesoamericaInAztlan The name "Aztec" was a word they used to refer to their ancestral home, i.e. Aztlan. Mexica (meshika) referred to the empire whose capital was Tenochtitlan and the people who resided there.
