  • Possibly the most addictive guitar solo in history

  • im drunk lol

  • best fukun shit everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Can there ever be a song as epic as this?

  • 7:37 sonny erickson??

  • is a not man, is a fucking machine of guitar.

  • Comment removed

  • 7:38 Lame boring girl doesn't seem to care that Lynyrd Skynyrd is performing right in front of her or that the lead singer will die in three months. She herself would later die alone and unloved, having only found comfort in her eccentric obsession with ceramic dolls during life.

  • @2ndLakeProductions What in Gods name are you rabbeting about.

  • when we put TwoDogs in the terre,,this is what hewanted to play at his death,,, he died of cancer ,,miss him and all my FREINDS in England ,,,,,,,xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxmiss you jamie,,miss ya mate miss

    ya

  • ronnie or his brother???

  • Cannot believe the bouncing titties to men ratio here...

  • that was incredible..

  • Lynyrd Skynyrd will always live on as the gods of rock!!! (no guitar hero)

  • Just for kicks I watched Frampton's "Feel Like We Do" from this same day. Frampton closed the show that day, and I was amazed at the empty seats during his performance. No disrespect, I like Frampton, but it just goes to show the power of the original Skynyrd live! The crowd had nothing left to give after this performance!!

  • the shit i would do to be born in the good generation. damn.

  • Is he wearin a neil young t- shirt!! Haahahahaha

  • @oreokookie1000 Crazy thing is they were great friends!!

  • this is kick ass quality for 77 awsome !!

  • Eu nem tinha nascido e curto muito

  • Can you imagine if they had "Bath Salts" back in the 60s and 70s? ha ha That stuff is 100 times stronger than coke and makes you 1000 times more paranoid than any drug they had back then. People would be wigging out back then.

  • F*CK!!!

  • anni 70-80..

  • More soaking wet panties there than a Playboy pool party!!!! Yee..Haaaa.

  • simply 12 minutes of epic awesomeness times 12!!

  • If I had the ability to make a concert spoof, it would cut to a crowd shot of shirtless men with beer bellies straddling the shoulders of 90-pound women.

  • @TheZuchinniman haha!!

  • haha 10:17 there is a man going crazy

  • This is a beautiful video , thanks for sharing , my nephew at the age of 30 always told his Mom if something to him that he wanted this song played at his funeral , sad to say he was in a car wreck January 22 2012 , it took his life , and he got his wish she had this played at his funeral , this is a beautiful song , " If I Leave Here Tomorrow , Would You Still Think Of Me " was on his photo . This song will always take me back to Christopher Jennings Bragg ( WV) .

  • I'm a free Bird ...

  • Play it pretty for Oakland. That's some fine guitar and piano. Great video!

  • This is a legendary tune that will not ever get old. I have even considered having it played at my funeral. Great video man.

  • top of the pussy food chain.

  • wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...its greatttt....i love the music and the crowd...

  • You can tell that Slash must've been influenced by this. I have no idea how it never gets old. Ever!

  • wow this vid has almost no dislikes so the "like" bar is all green... well this song is an acoustic boner anyway

  • @TheGoodOldRock Lucky you.. also, sometimes, there's a 15 seconds ads BEFORE the video starts at all, or a 30 seconds one that you can skip after 5 s.

I think now you can understand why jsliva (and me) is annoyed ;)

  • :O The bassist... at 9:25

  • Yes, God bless the 70s indeed...best music ever made. Sorry never got to see them in concert.

  • ahhh the good old days when Bra's were a rarely used "optional extra" God bless the 70's

  • I just don't understand how anyone could dislike this. 22 people are tone deaf or thought they were hitting the like button.

  • Great song

  • seeing them at hellfest, wont be the nearly same though

  • REAL MUSIC

  • great old school music!

  • @ramcorr06 .....never old...only legendary....

  • @sanctuaryforthelost all hail the easter bunny playing freebird with a flashlight!

  • @sanctuaryforthelost thats the greatest thing i have ever heard

  • @sanctuaryforthelost Hell yea!

  • whoa i actually get goosebumps watchin them perform in 1977.....the way it was supposed to be.

  • And in three shot months they were gone. Yet the music is timeless. Ronnie, Steve, Cassie, Allen, Leon, Billy you are missed so much. Lets not forget Dean Kilpatrick also. RIP to all, and i cant wait to see you play in the next life. Until then god rest your souls.

  • @cavdragoon Sadly,we can now add Allen Collins,Billy Powell and Leon Wilkeson to the list of lost members.

  • One of the greatest bands the world will ever know. All missed.Thank you for the music.

  • is that nick diaz playing guitar in his hippy days...

  • 3:55 bj while playing piano

  • look how thin that bass guitar is. I WANT THAT.

this is the real music btw.

  • love the bit at 10.50 with the blonde chick telling the guy he can put it where the sun dont shine, or that just me and my depraved mind.

  • no other words .... awesome !

  • Any real Lynyrd fan has heard of the movie "Freebird the movie". It's an almost 2 and a half hour long movie about this band that as released in 1996.

It contains mostly concert footage with some documentary elements and comments from surviving band members.

And for the first time ever has it been uploaded on YT in one piece.

Follow the link in the annotation to watch this movie.

  • Greatest guitar solo ever and the turd who filmed this great event shot more of the crowd than the band. Lame.

  • @joekunzler Cali in the late 70's...

  • When my duaghter was little she thought Freebird was the natiolnal anthem. We use to stand and put our hands on our hearts when the song was being played.

  • @joekunzler LOL My dad did that with Sweet Home Alabama. Still today when it comes on he's like, "Take your hats off, boys, the National Anthem's playin'."

    lol

  • The world would be a much cooler place if america made great music like this instead of war .

  • see hes wearing Neil young on his t shirt

  • @TheLoneace69 But I thought he put Her down?
