@sparkleandshine100 You could, but that would absorb a lot of the juice, and you take a huge chance on the shells getting really mushy. That would be like cooking spaghetti noodles in the sauce. It's just better to cook them separate.
@drakeygotit212 It's "Chicken Paprikash", it's Hungarian. It's a simple version of the original recipe. It's really good. I go back for thirds when I make it.
@ookami3380 It's the best tasting army food I've ever eaten then! Please share you grandmas recipe, I bet it taste awesome, and I'd love to try it! Thanks for watching the video twice!
@mrlurp you fry onions and garlic for few minutes in a pan, add smoked sausages or jerky, fry for next 12 minutes. add potatoes, whole paprikas, chopped tomatoes, salt pepper red hot pepper whatever and add water. boil until the soup level declines (about 20 minutes). you can add that chicken while you fry sausages but you dont have to. paprikas is not about ton of meat. its soupy vegetables and some meat.
sour cream is obsolete here. also oregano basilica,laurel (bey) and thime fit too
@mrlurp just one more thing. whenever you go for the soup (any kind) you fry meat and ingredients a little bit up to 12 minutes or more and then you add water. guaranteed better taste.
Can't you just cook the pasta in the soup?

Im not saying anything wrong with it but why the sour cream
drakeygotit212 1 month ago
@drakeygotit212
It gives it a bit of a sour flavor, takes the spice out of the peppers a bit, and makes it really creamy.
