While Fulton Sheen perpetuated the delusions of christianity, he was at least a liberal christian and did not seem to spread a message of hate (although his church to this day is still against rights for women, gays, molested children, etc.).

He was an entertainer and a good story teller (even if those stories were fabrications, he told them well and believably).

I'm currently reading his book "Life Of Christ" and it is one of the best books I've ever read. He truly was a man of God and lived the Christian life. I am so thankful to have found his books and teachings.
