I bought toothpaste from the health food store and tried to use it but it made my lips so chapped and they were peeling (Im thinking it was the tea tree oil) its just too much for my skin. Kay I know this may be too much information but when I moved to a fluoridated area, I started experiencing menstrual irregularities. Went to docs, was told I probably had pcos. When I moved away from the fluoridated area, my symptoms disappeared. Same diet. I blame fluoride.

People shouldnt go nuts over this. You know floride occurs naturally? In your body? in the ground? normal water before treatment contains floride. For example, in much of australia, floride is added to drinking water. I was raised on it and im fine. There is no indications of problems. @butthead6886 No I think it's called ionization and it only kills germs, it will not remove any chemicals, metals or Fluoride from the water so don't bother. There are really only 2 ways of removing fluoride from water and that’s a Distiller (but this is expensive on energy consumption and wont filter out all chemicals as the steam can still contain chemicals) or Reverse osmosis( that’s what I use) It's basically the best way and you need 5 filters version(1 specifically for fluoride) cont.
@butthead6886 Don't listen to any salesman that tells you any other method works because it won't. For e.g. ceramic filters, only remove small traces (not all and not chemicals) of metals that’s all. Fluoride is hardest element to remove from water because their one of the smallest molecules known. Also boiling water will only kill germs and will actually bolster the metals as I have personally seen the parts per million metals test before and after boiling water and after there's allot more.

If it's in the ground you could assume it is in whatever grows in that ground ie. plants / food supply , which means we may be getting it on our food as well. So why ADD more?? Unfortunately it doesnt seem like there is any solid ground to base things on. Who knows, the banning might have been put through simply because of public demand. Huge amounts of people consume this stuff and there doesnt seem to be any widespread evidence of anything. I guess you could say im not convinced. I hope there is some serious research done.

Well what is the alternative? I bought toothpaste from the health food store and tried to use it but it made my lips so chapped and they were peeling (Im thinking it was the tea tree oil) its just too much for my skin. She refused to do it at first because fluoride had been widely accepted - but found results similar to other neurotoxins such as: it caused memory loss & hypoactivity & lowered IQ. Soon after publishing her results, she was fired by Forsyth Dental Center & received no grants to continue her research.

My Dentist has told me that water fluoridation is `wonderful` for our dental health ! However, my doctor has said to me that toothpaste & Rat Poison have one ingredient in common; fluoride ! People shouldnt go nuts over this. You know floride occurs naturally? In your body? in the ground? normal water before treatment contains floride. For example, in much of australia, floride is added to drinking water. I was raised on it and im fine. There is no indications of problems. In fact, the amount of floride in water is altered to suit the amount that occurs naturally in your local supply. The only side effect is good teeth. And i got them

Thats right, floride is rapidly absorbed into your body through your lungs. It is one of 20 most common elements found in the earths crust. There's Loads of it in the air as well. Some of it MAY be in water supply due to fertaliser leaching. So is a LOT of other things. I was raised on treated water. Side effect? good teeth.

Yes, some people have problems differentiating between Calcium Fluoride and Sodium Fluoride.
Countries may 'ban' things for any number of reasons - political, commercial, and/or scientific.
But the fact remains that the vast bulk of peer-reviewed studies demonstrates beyond reasonable doubt that 'Fluoride' is a) harmful to the system in so many ways, and b) practically useless in preventing tooth decay - when not actually damaging to teeth.

@butthead6886 No I think it's called ionization and it only kills germs, it will not remove any chemicals, metals or Fluoride from the water so don't bother. There are really only 2 ways of removing fluoride from water and that’s a Distiller (but this is expensive on energy consumption and wont filter out all chemicals as the steam can still contain chemicals) or Reverse osmosis( that’s what I use) It's basically the best way and you need 5 filters version(1 specifically for fluoride) cont.

@butthead6886 Don't listen to any salesman that tells you any other method works because it won't. For e.g. ceramic filters, only remove small traces (not all and not chemicals) of metals that’s all. Fluoride is hardest element to remove from water because their one of the smallest molecules known. Also boiling water will only kill germs and will actually bolster the metals as I have personally seen the parts per million metals test before and after boiling water and after there's allot more.

@think746 yeah? well what have u got? lets look at the entire population where i live. lets say, 400 000 people. All drinking treated water. 0 problems reported. If there was a definite problem, there would be a consistant illness reported. The side effect? good dental condition across the board. If you eat too much of the same vegetable you will get sick. Are you going to say that is bad because it has potential to harm when used incorrectly? Go cry to someone else who is scared.

@jimmycar83 thats a silly thing to say. In the case of leaded fuel, the government allowed the phase out and replacement. If the government doesnt want to be sued it just passes a clause saying they cant be sued. Fags were never considered healthy. Nor was asbestos. All these things came from companies making a profit. Strangely, now smoking is being banned BY THE GOVERNEMENT. So was leaded fuel. Both which the government didnt market. You have your wires crossed. Not everything is a conspiracy

@slickstrings Your post begs the question: If it is already in the water and occurs naturally in the body and other places then why add it to the water supply? If it's in the ground you could assume it is in whatever grows in that ground ie. plants / food supply , which means we may be getting it on our food as well. So why ADD more?? Could we be receiving more than we need? And could this overdose be harmful? As someone who is not a scientist I ask myself why are there warnings on toothpaste?

But in terms of this video, making claims about all time high suicide, bi polar and divorce have anything to do with fluoride is just rediculous. the amount of variables that have changed in the generation gap described in the description is huge. To blame all that on one thing is just sheer stupidity and there is nothing suggesting it could be even remotely correct.

@slickstrings I'm not into the conspiracy theories or the esoteric side of things. I'm more interested in NOT introducing a poison into my body and the bodies of those I love. Govt's & the medical fraternity have made mistakes in the past eg. Thalidomide. So why are they considered infallible now? It just seems to me that a lot of controversy , much more than usual , surrounds this issue & the fact that fluoride has been banned from drinking water in most of the EU & Japan is cause for thought.

Unfortunately it doesnt seem like there is any solid ground to base things on. Who knows, the banning might have been put through simply because of public demand. Huge amounts of people consume this stuff and there doesnt seem to be any widespread evidence of anything. I guess you could say im not convinced. I hope there is some serious research done.
