Nice one.. I flied in the same aircraft CAI-JFK, JFK-CAI nearly 3 years ago. I was seated on this side, 37 I think, in the outbound flight, and on the opposite side in the inbound flight. Excellent aircraft and airline!!

ive travelled all my life now for 21 years from uae to egypt i never passed through this route good view really i always fly over from east cairo boring!!

yeah man you will never fly over this route when approaching cairo from UAE. i used to live in Saudi arabia and the flights from saudi arabia uses smimilar route as UAE flight. let me explain for you, flights coming from north enter egypt from the north coast side between alexandria and domyatt approx. and they fly almost paralel to the river approaching cairo over the west side of the nile or close to the pyramid then they turn left to reach the airport.

u will get this view of the city only if Runway 05L or 05R in use but if runway 23R or 23L in use.. good luck watching el salam city and el Ouboor :). regaring the flights coming from east, most of the time they enter egypt from Suez area and fly paralel to south and paralel to the runway to the right then they turn two right turns to be on final to the runway.
