Since a short time the Tölzer Knabenchor in Germany (toelzerknabenchor.de) performs this Händel Oratorium. Some public performances are planned.
On Monday, June 13,2011 the choir (with orchestra under the participation of Yair Dalal (!) and adult soloists of course) performed the Oratorium in Israel !

@RosemaryH1000 In 1970 and 1972 - we were very lucky instead of a triennial festival we had one after 2 years - as well we chartered a train to London to sing David Blake's Lumina (Ezra Pound words) at the Royal Festival Hall and we sang in Durham Cathedral for the British Association.

I'm not quite sure why it says 3 choirs - as far as I can remember it was Leeds Festival Choir augmented by some folk from Huddersfield Choral Society. If you want a small choir version get the recording from The Sixteen.

@amhey1 Many thanks. We know that Handel used choirs with about 50 singers or more. And his orchestras were more important than nowadays, about 40 or 50 musicians.
