This was the first time I had ever heard the Avett Brothers (I got there when they were playing "at the beach") It was the coolest thing I had ever seen, their stage presence is amazing. I'm still a huge fan today!! (a truely awesome night).

Just before the Brothers were to start their set the sky opened up and there was quite a storm. Shakori is a very family friendly festival and many of the kids took shelter on the stage. There were lots of family and friends trying to stay dry as well. You will often see kids dancing on stage there.
