Doesn't matter where is the temp gauge, it's because the engine isn't pushing, i don't know the exact meaning in english, but in spanish we call "acelerar al vacio"
But don't worry bro, just do it, maybe one day you will see what happen.

Hey evilhatchback...honda's are great...Best lawnmower I've ever owned. But a rotary-powered civic? C'mon...Where would you source the tranny mounts or bell housing for such a swap? H22 is too heavy as well. B18 or even a high-comp B16. I'd agree there...And putting a V8 in an 86-loss of balance. THAT is what makes the haichi such a perfect "driver's" car...even 20 years later. Have fun with your hondas though. See ya in the rear view.
come on lets be realistic here you cant compare a ae86 2 a civic lolz FF vs FR just wont work the 4age vs the b16a i think there really similar but the vtec is kinda better but this is what i would do to an AE86 is put in a 1UZFE v8 and the civic i will put in a rotary or a h22 now tell me if i'm wrong these convertions have been done and they work really well :)
you are a muppet. a rotary civic has no point and i have never seen or heard of such a conversion. mostly because rotors only have rwd mounts and would spin the wheels to much on a fwd if they where mounted like that. and that would ruin the point of an ae86 putn a v8 in it
^yes it would. considering the civic sir-II puts out 150whp and m4dd dorifto tyte Ae86!1!1! puts out 116whp. yes i know many honda owners are ricers but it doent mean civics suck, and not all honda enthusaists are ricers either. sorry i was just offened at how you compared a shittier car to a shitty car.
well this car has a better balance point than an s2000 with two thousand dollar suspension.. how do i know? because i own aJDM trueno with the JDM engine that puts 14 to the wheels.. not too mcuh but when you get it to where it weights only 1600 pounds it actualy gets up and goes.., but on the handling issue.. it can bean my S2000 on a short and close circut track... its a really good car
Not everyone wants to build a car that is only fast in a straight line dummy. Fuck building a lame, boring drag car when you can have a fast drift/circuit racer.
Which pixel is the speedometer?

temp gauge is at half, oil pressure gauge is broken, and those 4AGE are rev-happy motors with a stroke of only 77mm. good motors, vice video
dexterrogers 3 years ago
I hope that oil pressure gauge is just broken and not really allllll the way on that side like that..

Wrong. Redline with a load on it is way less damaging than neutral redline.

b16a> 4age
Trust me I like 86's, I just hate fanboys. A puny b16a is better than a 4age, Its not the motor that makes the corolla gts a good car..
(I'm not reffering to you, toreyjw1)

I guess a honda civic would be ok, right?

this is pointless reving the car to top. why don't you guys drive it and top it out.
analogueorange 5 years ago
probably because its a toyota corolla.
SignOn 5 years ago
lol im sorry. but the corolla is quite gutless. takes a big chunk of money to make it go from 1 to 60 in under 10 seconds..

Sir the reason is its not supposed to :D
