Best interpretation of this song I've seen. You're incredible man. I wish my drummer was as creative or as clean as you are. I'm trying to get him some jazz lessons to help creativity. What would you suggest man?

@netherreject That's the right approach to drums and music in general I guess... Studying phrasings as well as tecnique and improvisation in different generes gives you the widest view on approaching a part...

And listen to as much music as possible and lay down lots of tracks of course!!!!

@Jesterr78 I really appreciate it man. I'm a fan of most genres/sub genres, but I can't find many people who can play what I'd like to in my town. I am probably going to release a full length EP soon. I'll probably be doing all of the instrumentation as well as the vocals until I find serious band members. Music is a joke in this town unless you play breakdowns. I'll take your advice man. I'll probably just practice harder on drums and record them myself. Hahaha.

I'm not a fan of the tom beat in the chorus, I don't think it really fits that well, and I'd probably reduce the amount of open hi hat hits in the verses, but other than it's great. The contest is all about interpretation, and of course, our intepretations our unlikely to be the same. Great effort.

I recorded this stuff with a Pearl MCA Mapa Burl Limited Edition, 22*20 bass, 10*7 tom, 14*12, 16*13 floor toms and a Pearl Ian Paice signature snare...

K 20 ride, hhx evolution 16 and 18 crashes, AA 6 and 10 splashes, Hand Hammered 16 and 18 chinese, AA fusion hats the cymbals!

Pearl Eliminator Double pedal and hi-hat stand...

Mics are c414b-xls overheads, md421 on toms, d112 on kick, sm57\samson c01 top\bottom snare and a c451b on the hi-hat ;)
