  • "You can get them in a tangle and see how they unwrangle"

A small child could write better lyrics.

  • The commercail mostly filmed Hulk. And this is like strech armstrong, but in superhero style.

  • Those kids give me a very strange Kirk/Spock vibe.

  • My cousins had one of these. I remember some weird looking jelly coming out of his neck!

  • ive always been scared of stretching things really far like that usually it comes back and hits me

  • You watched too many Roadrunner cartoons.

  • no harm my ass-me and my cousin stretched my superman across his livingroom back in 79 and his arm came clean off and out poured the smelly green syrup-wish i still had him since now they go for 8000-10000 dollars-unbelievable-or even if i just kept the cool fathead-oh well-love this commercial-its as close as ill ever get to one-thanks!!

  • shoudnt they have mr.elastic

  • funny

  • "You can stretch their legs and arms,... it won't do them any harm!"

Oh yeah? Apparently the people singing these songs never had one of these toys. Stretching them did them plenty of harm! These were the first and ONLY toys to which I ever applied a Band-Aid.

  • is it Just me? or Does That Kid In 0:10 look like the guy from star trek? XD

  • @sashablend4 You mean Spock?

  • @sashablend4 Spok?

  • 0:28

    What is hulk doing!?!?!

  • Haha. SUperman almost looks like his head is on backwards.

  • I had the Spiderman one. You can't stretch them like in the commercial. My brother and I did it and the skin split at the armpit.

All this goo oozed out. lol

  • These toys would have made more sense if the characters were Mr. Fantastic from Fantastic Four or even Plastic Man.

  • cuando era niño alguna vez hice voodoo con una de estas figuras y le salio mielecilla despues me arrepenti...

  • All 3 are worth a fortune the Batman one according to a Stretch Armstrong collector sold on ebay (in mint condition) for $15000!

  • seriousally i have one not in his box but he is in pretty good condition.

  • Are you serious??? Do you happen to know if the rubber has deteriorated? Are they still stretchable?

  • I dunno about them but thers a guy on the internet who collects stretch armstrongs and he has an absolute massive collection of them some are mega rare such as these ones and his website is stretch armstrong world just google it and youll see

  • how about if it broke while the kid was steching it... -SNAP! or would be SLAP! the hulk strikes again!!!!

  • i have all three still in the original box, and i'll never sell em

  • nice i wouldnt either

  • What If...

The Hulk had Mr. Fantastic's powers?

    Superman had an oversized head?

  • of course superman did with an ego as big as he had especially when he was doing coke don't get me started on that

  • These are worth soooo much money now. "The Incredible Hulk" just sold on eBay for $5,000.

  • Wow.

  • Oh man, I haven't seen the stretch Hulk since I was a kid. I had one but he got punctured in my toybox by one of my Star Wars ships and leaked all over my other toys, ruining a bunch of them. Thirty years worth of therapy later I'm still trying to deal with it all.

  • they didnt leak

  • didnt they have corn syrup in them just like the stretch armstrong action figures?

  • when you would cut stretch armstrong open this weird sticky jelly would ooze out of him.

  • Interesting to see both DC *AND* MARVEL superheroes in the same commercial. I remember a Plastic Man one.

  • I always thought Stretch Armstrong was the O.G., guess not.

  • I had Stretch Armstrong the orriginal as a kid. I remember when I took him with me in the winter he would become solid as a brick.

  • I wonder how long you can stretch them till they tear apart?

  • These are the greatest toys ever made!! When I'm dead I hope my heaven has these elastic stretches every where I look. I need them with me always. They are angles filled with corn syrup and known for their love...and I love them forever!!!!!!!!!! Long live the Mego stretch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hahahaha...brilliant. "I need them with me always" lmao.

  • Little angles... do you feel so?!

Interesting. As a latex mystic I meditate with latex inflatables (no joke) and so I indeed have modified also a modern Stretch Armstrong and Stretch Mr.Fantastic figure into inflatables for this (i.e. gel removed, bike tube valve installed inside head. Important: never overinflate to avoid ruining their body details).

I entrust myself to their balance and vibrations during meditation. They are a spiritual tool for me, like a kind of miniaturized psychic.
