Speaking of Democracy and freedom of press. Here in the U.S, i could not find any clip of "Chinese students laughing at Timothy Geithner's speech" in Youtube or any website. Maintstream US media hardly showed any protesting Iragi war or precession of death soldiers, not even on national public radios. I wached that video and I have to say that you are incredibly naive if you think there is no poverty and beggers (including ran away children) in European cities. London is filled with mostly Polish and other Eastern Europeans sleeping on the benches and girls -slaves working as prostitutes. The same goes for the other capitals. I haven't noticed Kremlin talking like that, however crisis might bring positive things not only to Russians, but to EU as well. Our politicians are very big on verbal bubbles and now they have to act and to get real. As for Russians, it's a clear sign that they should invest into different industries as well as natural resourses. May be the ecology will get better too, with the collapse of some industries( talking about a glass half full).

Actually I can see lots of positive things about Poland, and it saddens me to see Poland and Russia antagonized. However,the tendency these days is to blame Russia for almost any problem in the world(like the Georgian conflict for the first couple of months, until the truth became too difficult to ignore).I don't think it's in the interest of the world to make Russia feel bullied and humiliated. Certainly not in the interest of Poland, but it doesn't seem to understand it.

Poland was historicly close to all RU mostly brutal activity facts so we stay more sensitive to any hostile movements then rest of the west (check list of first acting countries after Georgia war) . Our fast and NATO hard support saved Georgia to loose freedom (govermant changing and all country ocuupying). We was not scared so fast and hard acting - the only way to talk with KREML to take effects. KREML had never respected any weak "partner". So to not scare and talk we need to be powerfull.

The 90 under a weak leadership lead the country into a disasterous situation.Russian leadership now may be called strong, but if you look at the facts (not the imaginary facts), you'll see that it's been consistently moderate and restrained even in the situations when the West was poring verbal abuse and displaying hostile actions towards it (like the anti missile shield on its borders etc.)

Also not just Poles have been killed - also Belorussians, Russians, Jews, Ukranians...by the direct order from Georgian Beria, with the approval of again Georgian Stalin.
