l learned it when I was about 16! it's an old standard; u can find the score easily, look around.
when I played in ECC jazzband 69-72-ish Mr Mack was director, bassist was Tony Garnier who's been with Bob Dylan 25+ years, alto sax was Larry McCrae a killer player.
U R One of the best young musicians i have heard so far In the southern California. sax rule!

Sad to say that yes, poor Wally's gone but he lives on in our memories and recordings that I transferred from reel-to-reels from the ECC archive.
This tune though is addictive and I want to revisit it this year, hopefully!

He was my theory professor as well. Me and my friend Hugo where really close to him but sad to say he passed away about a year ago.

one day Gerald Wilson gave a seminar lecture
I put together a rhythm section and we all jammed; had a blast. the great Wally Bower was theory professor, would love to contact him if u know how.
